Jason is our accessory buyer, staff trainer and an ace shoe fitter. Jason spends most of his time serving customers and fitting footwear. He also has extensive running/retail experience starting back from his days living in LA working at Phidippides. If you don’t catch up with Jason in the store or at our training runs, then you can find him skateboarding down Chestnut or exploring the new arrivals at Cocoa-Bella.
Chris joined our team after moving to San Francisco in 2007. After a successful college running career at Princeton University (three-time Ivy League 10,000 Conference Champion) he went on to significant glory in distance running over the past eight years. He has represented the United States at the Pan Am Games and has competed in two Olympic Marathon Trials races, most recently in NYC in 2007. Chris' running specialty store experience matches Jason's and Brett's going back to 1999. He is an excellent addition to our team and can fit shoes with the very best!
Amy joined our team in the Fall of 2007. Originally a member of our Santa Cruzin' Half Marathon Training team in 2006, she has been a staff favorite every time she visited the store. After Brett and Kim made many requests for Amy to join the team she has graciously accepted and has made an wonderful impression on the store. When not at Fleet Feet you can find her tending bar at Sweetie's in North Beach, or running the various loops around the city.
Brent joined our team in the Fall of 2008. He was a standout in soccer and track and field at Pennsylvania University, before moving to San Francisco to continue studying at the Academy of Art. Brent is an aspiring shoe designer, so you may be wearing a pair of his creations before too long. In the Summer of 2009 Brent interned with Reebok working on running and basketball shoe designs.
Ty joined our team in the Summer of 2009. Originally from the Washington DC area, he is taking a gap year before heading to college at Oberlin where he will be running Cross Country and studying creative writing.
Melissa joined our team in the Spring of 2009. She recently left the corporate world to strike out on her own with her Dog-Running company, GO DOG GO. She works with us part-time, and also leads a boot camp with Basic Training.
Kara joined Fleet Feet San Francisco in the Spring of 2009. She had previously worked at a Fleet Feet Sports store in the North Bay for four years before becoming a first-grade teacher.
