If you are coming in for a complete fitting, plan to spend about 20-30 minutes with us. You don't need an appointment, and all of our staff are well trained to take you through a fitting. We'll take a few measurements on each foot while you are sitting and standing to examine your foot's flexibility. We'll also analyze your gait and watch you walking barefoot. Once we've selected a pair or two for you to start with, we'll check the fit and function of the shoe compared to your foot. Depending on your activity of choice, we'll watch you take a few strides in the shoes either walking or jogging.
If you have custom orthotics, it's not a bad idea to bring them in with you. It's not 100% necessary, but it will give us a better idea of how the shoes will work in relation to the orthotics. It's also a good idea to bring your favorite pair of socks along for the fitting.
