Hit the Trails!
7 weeks of training designed to continue your training and get you to the finishline of your 20K/50K. Challenge yourself with new running terrain and hill work that will increase your confidence and your stamina. Work together! Our trail groups are a fun mixture of experienced, intermediate and novice runners that have already been putting in some mileage and want to train together. We've got all paces and lots of encouraging coaches. Join us as we prepare for Shadow of the Giants 20K and 50K!
20K/50K Training
Training for trail
This training group is designed for the runner who has already been training but wants to run on trails and increase mileage with a group. Training will be assigned appropriate to skill level with tiered workouts based on fitness level, ability and preference of the 20K or 50K distance. If you are looking to work hard and stay motivated with a diverse group, this is the option for you!
Goal Event: Shadow of the Giants 20/50K
Duration: 7 weeks, two group training runs per week
Dates: April 20th - June 8th, 2024
Days and times: Tuesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 6:00am
Start of training and KICKOFF: April 20th at 6:00am
Cost: $100
We'll get you all the info you need and answer any questions you have on the first day of training.
Coaching
Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized attention and feedback. Training groups will have small coach to athlete ratios, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.

Training Plan
Your 7-week training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan is periodized to gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.
Community
The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.
